This volume was written using WordPerfect 6.0 & 7.0 word processors. Images for the pictorial essays were scanned using a Microtek E6 ScanMaker and a PhotoImpact 3.0 image processing program

The body of the text was printed in CG Times 11 point font. The descendancy charts in Appendix C were produced using the Personal Ancestral File genealogical program of the Church of Latter Day Saints and edited within WordPerfect 6.0

The text of the master copy of the book was printed on a Hewlett Packard Laserjet IIIP printer. The pictorial essays were printed on a Hewlett Packard 5L Laserjet printer with 600 dpi resolution
